Pitcher (CSIRO) | Southern Surveyor cruise SS 04/95 (cruise was cut short - information from cruise plan only): Overall objective was to determine the distribution and abundance of the phyllosoma larvae of tropical rock lobster, Panulirus ornatus in the north-western Coral Sea with respect to the major current patterns, depth, lunar phase, diurnal cycle, and physical chemistry of the water column. (Note: uncompleted objectives from this cruise were transferred to cruise SS 06/97). |
