Title: | Global estimation of Diapycnical mixing rates |

Acronym: | P - Global estimation of Diapycnical mixing rates |

Description: | The science vision of the Climate Research Group of the Division of Marine Research is to reduce the uncertainty in climate predictions by advancing the knowledge of ocean physics and ocean biogeochemical cycling through observations and models. An important gap in ocean climate models is our relative ignorance of the amount of diapycnal mixing in the ocean. The present study aims to provide both new tools to determine diapycnal mixing and a better quantitative description of diapycnal mixing. |
