| Comments: | Some excitement!!! Snow all morning, turning the decks in to slushy ice rinks! Balloon had a hole and didn't get fully filled but we launched anyway. The sonde launch was not exactly smooth and we watched the sonde skim along the water until it disappeared into the fog. The sonde was still reporting though and... surprise surprise... a couple km of 100% humidity at the surface. The good thing is that the latest batch of sondes have been reporting better and are reaching 20 km again. | ||
