| Comments: | MFC was blocked with butanol and could not maintain the set flow rate. Cause could be a problem with catchpot drain system and is being investigated. Steps taken: - I cleaned the MFC and reinstalled - the flow rate appeared to be stable, however the CPC concentration was too high - Checked the flow rate with the Gilibrator and the actual flow rate was too high (~1440ccm) - I took the MFC apart again to ensure it was put together correctly, flow rate was still too high - I adjusted the set point of the MFC until the flow rate was 1000ccm (set point is now 0.66LPM) - did a zero check - |
