| Fragments of pillow basalts varying from 4 - 40 cm in diam. Pillow textures are classic with extrusion crust striation and glassy rinds. The outer glass selvage is 3mm wide and contains micro vesicles. Beginning 1cm towards the pillow core is 1 ?3 cm long gas escape vesicles filled with residual micro vesicular glass. |
