| Fresh black aphyric dacite with conchoidal fractures. Flat pillow forms with glass crusts on upper and lower surfaces. Weakly vesicular, with elongate vesicles. Very rare plagioclase phenocrysts (1 every 5-10 blocks). No weathering, but minor orange Fe sediment adhering to some blocks. All blocks in the haul were of this lithology. |
