Aerosol sampling system - Search for deployments and/or events
Description
Air is pumped (Thomas Sheboygan 2107CD18) through the ship's air inlet within 2 black silicone tubes drive the air to a portable laminar flow hood (AirClean Systems) installed in the ship's aerosol lab. The latter houses 2* 47mm diameter Savillex PFA filter holders where Whatman 41 filter papers are placed for air particles collection. Pumps are automatically switched on and off with the wind speed and direction by a switch controller panel. The volume of air filter is monitored by a volume meter.
