Sheltered Science Area - Search for deployments and/or events
Description
The sheltered deck workshop extends over two decks with access to the aft main deck and starboard deck work areas.
- Area approximately 40 m2
- Suitable for: o storage, preparation and maintenance of science equipment o use as hangar space for ROV/AUV systems o working with biological samples o working with geological and sediment samples o filling, handling and releasing radiosonde balloons
- Workbenches
- Materials handling systems that provide the ability to transfer equipment of up to 10 tonne to the starboard and aft work areas
- Hot and cold freshwater at sink
- Raw seawater at sink
- Bulkhead Unistrut for securing equipment
- Deck tie-downs
