McKenna demersal fish trawl nets - Search for deployments and/or events
Description
The MNF have access to 3 McKenna Market trawls. They have a headline length of 37.6m, footrope of 41.3m and
are 54m long. The mesh size starts at 220mm in the mouth area and reduces to 100mm at the cod end. Two
Thyboron 76" type 4 demersal doors are supplied with the net. Deck inserts are required to be removed for
deployment. A net monitoring system (ITI) is available and will be employed by the MNF based on the trawl
requirements.
