Rank: | Species |
|
Taxon Notes: | NB, various subspecies of this taxon are recognised in CAAB as independent taxa, namely ssp. gibsoni (now D. gibsoni) and ssp. antipodensis (now D. antipodensis). This CAAB code refers to the remaining, monotypic form.
Scientific Name Notes: | Four subspecies of D. exulans are regarded as separate species, following Robertson & Nunn 1998 and current 'Environment Australia' usage; these are treated in CAAB as D. gibsoni, D. antipodensis, D. dabbenena, and D. amsterdamensis. Thus D. exulans in CAAB represents the remaining, monotypic form.
