Scientific Name Notes
Last & Stevens (1994) identified eastern and western populations of Cephaloscyllium sp E. Last et al 2008 described the eastern population as Cephaloscyllium signourum (coded as 37 015039) and the western population as Cephaloscyllium speccum (coded here as 37 015033). Records of Cephaloscyllium sp E from the west coast of Australia probably refer to Cephaloscyllium speccum and records of Cephaloscyllium sp E from the east coast of Australia probably refer to Cephaloscyllium signourum.
