Scientific Name Notes:	Originally a single family, Hippolytidae, this group has been split into several distinct families by some recent authors. There is still some uncertainty about the status of some groups within the Hippolytidae sensu lato, and the current classification is likely to be altered with more research. The classification adopted here follows De Grave et al, 2014.
