Taxon Notes: | This is a wide-spread species associated with hull fouling, originally described from Brazil, and may have been introduced to many areas by shipping. This species is not currently known from Australian waters - previous Australian records of this species (eg Kilgallen, 2009) were mis-identifications of the native species Podocerus lobatus, see Hughes, 2013. | ||
