Taxon Notes:	This species has been mis-identified as Hydroides operculata for many years, but recent genetic work has shown that the latter is restricted to the Red Sea/Persian Gulf region, and that the Australian species is distinct from it and from the Asian species Hydroides inornata, See Sun et al, 2017.
