The Remote Sensing Facility operates two groundstations and has extensive archival and image processing facilities.

The groundstations are:

• an L-band groundstation for reception of data from the NOAA
  (meteorological) and SeaWIFS (ocean colour) spacecraft.

• an X-band groundstation (TERSS) for reception of data from a range
  of spacecraft, including ERS-1, Landsat and Spot.

  This groundstation is operated on behalf of a set of partners.
