The three most common configurations for the Online SST Service are:

Use your web-browser to select images from a list of thumbnails. Click on the thumbnail to load a page which presents the image using our proprietory browser-based Java Image-viewer. The image-viewer enables you to read off latitude/longitude and temperature values under the cursor, as well as changing the colours of the image. This configuration will work on any internet-connected computer with Java2-enabled browsers. |

| Standard Service, as DATA , for use with 'show' image-viewing software | |

Use your web-browser to select datafiles from a list. Click on the filename to download it to your computer's hard-drive. You can use the "show" software to view the uncompressed data. "show" is available from us here and remains on your hard-drive once downloaded. "show" enables you to read off latitude/longitude and temperature values under the cursor, as well as changing the colours of the image. "show" is a DOS-based program that works on most versions of MicraSoft Windos. |
