Description: RV Franklin voyage FR199903 was conducted in April / May 1999 by Dr. Alexandra Isern (university of Sydney) and Dr. Flavio Anselmetti (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology) to investigate the facies architecture and depositional history of the sediments and carbonate platforms of the Marion Plateau, northeast Australia using a detailed grid of multi-channel seismic data collected over the plateau.
