Description: Cruise FR 03/86 (also known as CIDARIS I) was undertaken to study deep bottom fauna of the Barrier Reef Shelf and adjacent Coral Sea. Survey methods included grabs, dredges, sledges and beam trawls. Data, sediment, rock fragments and biological samples were collected for on board and laboratory analysis.
