Communities of Practice - Concepts and Experience
The "Communities of Practice" (CoP) initiative has been established through the CMAR Capability Development Fund (CDF) to ensure effective and efficient transfer of knowledge among the Division. Many of our staff will benefit from these Communities by creating better working practices and enhancing science linkages across CMAR. This seminar will outline the ideas underpinning the concept of a community of practice, how this fits into CMAR's capability strategy and recent experience of establishing two communities of practice - data management and programming.
