No not a new brand of Queensland beer, but a voyage of discovery through the Tasmanian ICT Centre’s research portfolio. We are developing a range of information and communications technologies to support our Flagship research objectives in water, health, marine, aquaculture and energy. After a hectic establishment year, the Centre is now nearing full operation and building strong capabilities in sensor networks, data management and robotics. Our research is supported by the Intelligent Island Program and so we will be focussed on building technologies with the potential to grow and benefit Tasmanian ICT industries and build relationships with the University of Tasmania.
