Ecology, environmental management, and the human side of science.

Steve will talk about his own experiences of ecology as a scientific discipline struggling towards application in environmental management. He will then want to talk about how he sees this challenge reflected in the wider interaction between science and society. And finally, he will mention how all this might be reflected in CSIRO's evolution!
