Ecology, environmental management, and the human
side of science.
Steve will talk about his own experiences of ecology
as a scientific discipline struggling towards application in environmental
management. He will then want to talk about how he sees this challenge
reflected in the wider interaction between science and society. And
finally, he will mention how all this might be reflected in CSIRO's
evolution!
