Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography
Ocean Blues
Professor Kennel will describe the challenges in managing
and conserving our oceans. Based in part on his experience as a member
of the Pew Oceans Commission, Dr. Kennel's talk will address the scientific
and governance issues facing society in reversing the deterioration
of global marine ecosystems and developing new science-based adaptive
management approaches.
