Description: LI2015_v08 was a voyage conducted onboard RV Linnaeus during March 2015 as part of the AIMS WAMSI Marine Bio-diversity project conducted in the Camden Sound region of the Kimberley. The project aims were to collect data to enable analysis of the distribution and prediction of benthic bio-diversity within the proposed marine park areas. The Geophysical Survey & Mapping team mobilised the EM2040c multibeam echosounder and system peripherals onboard RV Linnaeus. Multibeam bathymetry and backscatter data were attempted to be collected at 750m spaced lines throughout the sampling area, generally in an eastwest direction. In addition multibeam water-column data were attempted to be acquired during the 1.5km towed video transects.
