| Description: | As part of this project to examine the circulation in the Gulf of Carpentaria and its relation to banana prawn dispersion, six voyages, each of one week duration were conducted by the fishing vessel Judy B in south-eastern Gulf of Carpentaria during September and November 1978. During these voyages, pairs of current meters were deployed at three locations, planktonic and benthic sampling of penaeid prawn larvae and post larvae and near shore and river sampling. |
