TNPD Comments in D files

This table and plots count the presence or absence of TNPD comment strings in SCIENTIFIC_CALIB_COMMENT fields of D-files for which our automated scan suggests the TNPD condition is present. Note that these are counts of affected profiles where other audit tables record counts of affected floats.

Surface Pressure Correction

Counts of profiles per DAC for which we can evaluate the surface pressure correction; that is, we have an SP value, an approved SP parameter name, and there are PRES and PRES_ADJUSTED values from which to deduce the DAC correction.

Good= abs(estimated_correction - DAC correction)< 1.5 dBar.

"ok method 2" means these appear to be correctly applying an optional alternative treatment which is described in the Parameter Name Table.
